At Grace UMC, we believe Family Ministries should do much more than provide great ministry opportunities and environments for children and teens. We believe Family Ministries should engage parents and embrace the whole family. Because of this belief we are developing a ministry that will partner with parents to provide care, support and resources as they raise their children from infancy through adolescence. We want to REACH whole families by creating and fostering environments in which Children, Teens and Parents can GROW IN LOVE for God and others. We want to EQUIP whole families by providing opportunities for Children, Teens and Parents to GIVE OF THEMSELVES in service, LEARN TOGETHER through Bible Studies and programs, and encouraging families to GROW IN GRACE.Following Deuteronomy 6, we walk together through the wisdom, laws, and stories of our faith.

Our Nursery Department strives to provide a bright, cheerful, safe, and loving environment for your children while you attend our Service. The foundation we seek to lay during your child’s early years (birth to 3 years) is built on Christ and involves lots of love, sharing, patience, cooperation and learning about God.

The Children’s Ministry at Grace ranges in age from 4 years old to 5th Grade. Our desire is to teach our children basic Biblical foundations through age appropriate curriculum, as well as show them the love of Jesus Christ through our teachers and staff. We believe that all students, no matter what age, are important and a vital part of worship within our church family.

Grace 3-Sixteens is a ministry of Grace UMC, made up of 7th-12th grade students. Our mission is to radically change the next generation with the message of Jesus. Grace Roots
College & Career
Grace Roots is a young adults group at Grace UMC ages 18 to 30. We meet every Sunday evening at 6 PM in the Grace United Methodist Church, 401 Grace street Wilmington NC. Please come and join us in doing mission work for our local community along with social events and book discussions.

Gracelettes meet the third Thursday of each month for a service project and a girls night out. Once a year we have a Moms Retreat where we spend the weekend growing, sharing, and helping each other…
