GRACE ON A  MISSION – HOSPICE MEALS | Making Every Moment Matter

Wilmington is fortunate to have a Hospice Care Center devoted to caring for those facing life’s end. Grace UMC, as well as other churches and local organizations, has volunteered to furnish meals for the families and staff at Hospice. Grace furnishes lunch on the second Wednesday of every other month for approximately 30-35 people.

The families at Hospice, especially those from out of town, appreciate and look forward to the home-cooked meals that are provided. Without Grace and the other groups, many of them would resort to fast food, and some can not afford to eat out each and every day. By preparing a meal you are directly showing your love to families that are preparing for the loss of a loved one.

 How you can help:

  • Volunteer, either alone or with a friend to prepare a meal
  • Deliver the meals to the Hospice Care Center
  • The sign-up sheet is in the Welcome Center
  • Pray for the families at Hospice.
  • Contact Jim Tyndall for more information: (910) 409-6869 or (910) 343-9581
