Annual UMW “Souper” Bowl Sunday
 
  • Sunday Morning, February 3rd
  • 9:30-10:50 am
  • Welcome Center
The price this year will be $10.00 for a quart of soup and 4 pieces of cornbread. The proceeds from this UMW fundraiser will go to UMW missions projects throughout the year. These projects include the Methodist Home for Children, our Grace Youth mission trip, and others. Thank you in advance for your support and enjoy your homemade soup!

Confirmation Classes Starting 
 
Grace will have a new confirmation class starting in February. If your child is interested in being confirmed, please see Kelley Ahlers for the books and more information. The classes will end in April with a Confirmation Weekend of service and education in downtown Wilmington.

Spreading Christmas to Those in Need
 
Over the last month, Grace Church family and friends have collected gifts, clothes, and donations for 123 different “Angels”. Working with the Wilmington Fire Department, another 15 children received bikes on Christmas. For some families who lost everything in Florence, we were even able to provide a Christmas tree, lights, and ornaments.
 
Through your generosity, we were able to provide a little Christmas where there was none. Thank you Grace Family and Friends for giving people hope and happiness!

Christmas Candlelight Services

  • Monday, December 24, 2018
  • 5 pm & 7 pm

Come! Let the light of Jesus’ birth shine into your heart anew.Childcare will be available at both services for children age 3 and under.

Luminaries

One of the wonderful Grace traditions is the use of luminaries to line the walkways to the church for the Christmas Eve Candlelight Services.

Today there are special envelopes in the morning worship bulletin for donations to this mission project.Please use these to name the person or persons you wish to honor or memorialize on Christmas Eve. A list of all the names will be included in the bulletins that evening.

A donation of $5 or more per name is suggested. This project is being led by the Grace Youth. The funds raised will be used by the Youth Ministry.

The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, December 18th.
