Grace is a beautiful, historic church located in the heart of downtown Wilmington, NC. Our location and traditional sanctuary make Grace the perfect location for a wedding. The wedding fee for those who are members of Grace UMC is $1150. This fee includes the building rental (sanctuary, dressing rooms) and all wedding personnel (wedding director, pastor, organist, and sound person).
Non-members are welcome to hold weddings at Grace as long as one of our pastors officiates. The fee for non-members is $2500 and includes the building rental (sanctuary, dressing rooms) and all wedding personnel (wedding director, pastor, organist, and sound person).
Our brand new activity center is an ideal location for wedding receptions and can be rented for an additional $600. This fee includes the set-up and clean-up of the space and the use of tables, chairs, and sound system.

The beautiful sanctuary with its glorious stained glass windows and long red carpeted center aisle make the sanctuary an ideal location to make every bride feel special. Every wedding is unique and special to each participant. Each bride brings their own enthusiasm and desires for their ceremony and it is my job to make sure that every bride’s wedding dreams come true.
It has been my pleasure to have been doing just that for over 10 years at Grace, where I have directed more than 50 weddings. From large weddings that have filled the church to capacity, to small intimate affairs, Grace has accommodated it all! As the wedding director, I strive to meet or exceed the bride’s standards and see that every detail is taken care of, from the music of the mighty pipe organ to the positioning of the bridal party. I eliminate the worry so that everything goes according to plan and adds to the happiness of the bride and groom’s special day.
